Preprofessional Programs
|
|
Preprofessional courses are academic programs or individual classes designed to prepare students for entry into professional schools, such as medical, dental, law, or veterinary schools. These courses typically cover foundational knowledge and skills essential for advanced study in a professional field. Completing preprofessional courses does not in itself constitute a credential or a degree. Instead, these courses are preparatory steps that help students meet the admission requirements for professional schools. It is strongly recommended that students following a preprofessional program work with the preprofessional advisor assigned to that program.
