This course provides graduate students with a comprehensive overview and understanding of where forensic anthropology fits within larger frameworks of anthropology, medicolegal death investigation, and forensic science, as well as provide them with skills necessary to accurately carry out skeletal analysis. Students will learn the methods used by forensic anthropologists in their casework, and readings will inform students about the various applications of biological anthropology and archaeology with regard to legal matters.
