This 2-credit course is a graduate-level seminar with weekly in-person meetings for discussion of topics in forensic anthropology. The specific topic covered during this seminar changes each semester, but may include forensic anthropology ethics, taphonomy, trauma analysis, photography, and more. This course involves a broad scope of readings, from foundational literature to contemporary publications, along with discussions and writing assignments each that are used to teach students how to think critically about, professionally discuss, and apply concepts central to forensic anthropology.
