EN 462 - Literature for Young Adults Offered Fall: Yes Offered Winter: No Offered Summer: Yes Offered Other: No 3-4 Credits Hours (Lecture - Discussion - Lab): 4-0-0 Prerequisites: Junior standing or instructor’s permission.
A comprehensive study of books for young adults, designed for secondary school teachers. Needs and interests of adolescents are studied along with selection principles to fiction and nonfiction of all types. Emphasis is placed on developmental reading for the accelerated, the average and the reluctant student.
Notes: Available for an additional research credit; students must be registered for the three-credit course before signing up for the additional credit.
