ES 100 - Introduction to Health and Human Performance Offered Fall: Yes Offered Winter: Yes Offered Summer: No Offered Other: No 2 Credits Hours (Lecture - Discussion - Lab): 1-1-0 This course will familiarize students with introductory information in health and human performance. It will also provide an overview of basic and applied research questions and career alternatives in the specific sub-disciplines of Human Performance; including Athletic Training, Physical Education, Kinesiology/Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sports Performance/S&C, Sports Psychology, and Sport Nutrition. Since entry-level career positions often require, as a minimum, graduate study to the Master of Science level, a survey of graduate program designs and current related programs in North America will also be covered.
