ECE 281 - Developmentally Appropriate Practice Seminar 2 (Ages 3-K) Offered Fall: Yes Offered Winter: No Offered Summer: No Offered Other: No 1 Credits Hours (Lecture - Discussion - Lab): 1-0-0 Prerequisites: Admittance to the early childhood program or instructor permission.
This seminar is an overview of developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate practices to support the learning and development for children ages three through kindergarten with diverse identities (e.g., gender, disability, race, language, religion). Teacher candidates will examine and summarize appropriate practices and supports for young children ages 3 through kindergarten and their families. A minimum of 10 hours of early childhood clinical hours is required.
