Prerequisites: Admittance to the early childhood program or instructor permission.

This course will focus on the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively with young children ages 3 to kindergarten who have diverse developmental and learning needs through collaboration and early intervention to create inclusive environments for children. Practices will encompass inclusive, developmentally appropriate, culturally, linguistically and identity-affirming practices and the teacher’s role in supporting the learning and development of young children.

A minimum of 15 hours of early childhood clinical hours is required.
