ECE 384 - Integrated Math, Science, and Social Studies for Early Childhood Education

Prerequisites: Admittance to the early childhood program or instructor permission.

This course is a study of inclusive developmentally appropriate, culturally, linguistically and identity-affirming practices. Emphasis is placed on the teacher’s role in supporting the development and learning of children ages birth through kindergarten. Curriculum planning to address the diverse identities of children will highlight the development of goals, appropriate learning environment when integrating math, science, and social studies.

A minimum of 15 hours of early childhood clinical hours is required.
