This course focuses on the biological roots and modern appearance of humans. General topics covered in this course include our place within the mammalian evolutionary lineage; evolutionary theory; human population genetics; behavior of monkeys and apes; human evolution; and modern human variation. This course includes lab-based exercises that enhance student learning of course content.
