Public Anthropology is an exploration of how anthropological knowledge, methods, and insights are applied to address pressing social issues in the public sphere. This course examines the role of anthropologists in advocating for social justice, influencing public policy, and engaging with communities outside of academia. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, case studies, and practical projects, students will learn how to effectively communicate to public debates on topics such as human rights, environmental justice, and cultural heritage.
