AN 477 - Ethics in Biological Anthropology

Prerequisites: Junior standing.

In this course, students will use an anthropological lens to examine and interrogate commonly encountered ethical dilemmas in biological anthropology. This includes discussion of how to ethically interact with humans and non-human primates, both living and deceased, in numerous scenarios. Students will learn about laws and professional codes of ethics that govern this research as well as how to cultivate their own ethical practices.
