Prerequisites: Admission to methods phase of teacher education or with instructor permission.

This course builds upon and extends prospective teachers’ ability to provide diverse learners in grades 7-12 with opportunities to learn through disciplinary literacy pedagogy and socially just instruction in secondary school subjects/disciplines. The course includes a predetermined number of clinical hours in secondary (grades 7-12) classrooms.
