This program has two goals: to provide educational experiences enabling graduates to enter a variety of entry-level positions and to provide students with skills and experiences that will assist them in functioning as a consumer in today’s modern society. Career opportunities with this degree are numerous and may include a variety of situations in retail stores, insurance companies/agencies, banks and many types of small businesses. Job titles include sales associate, assistant manager, insurance clerk and teller.
Associate degree students must earn a 2.00 grade point average in all business courses.

Total Credits Required 60 Credits
General Education 15-16 Credits
Select general education courses within the specified limits. A course may fulfill both general education and program requirements. Any credit shortfall can be addressed with general electives. Required General Education 4 Credits

Select four courses from the following: General Business Electives 20 Credits
Select any courses beginning with ACT, CIS, IS, FIN, MGT, MKT, PR: General Electives 4 Credits
Note: Transfer courses that fulfill the course requirement but not the credit minimum will result in a credit shortfall, which must be addressed by taking additional business electives. |
