Biology - Forensic Biology Concentration

This concentration allows students to explore the forensic science applications of disciplines such as human biology, wildlife biology, molecular biology, microscopy, and quantitative analysis with the goal of preparing for careers or graduate study in the forensic sciences. Emphasis is placed on hands-on experience, including at the Forensic Research Outdoor Station.

Students in Forensic Biology Concentration are encouraged (but not required) to do an additional relevant minor and/or certificate to increase the breadth of their preparation for their career. Suggestions include Anthropology, Chemistry, Criminal Justice, Crime Scene Investigation, and Forensic Anthropology. *Students interested in this course should note that it requires additional upper-level prerequisites not listed in this concentration. |
