WD 255 - Advanced Pipe Welding II

Prerequisites: WD 252.

Students will demonstrate advanced pipe welding techniques with GTAW and SMAW processes to produce code quality groove welds. In addition, students will interpret fabrication drawings and demonstrate basic pipefitting techniques to construct pipe spools. Students will have the opportunity to take pipe welding qualification tests on carbon steel and stainless steel.
