Corequisites: WD 251 and WD 253 or Instructor’s permission.
Students will develop the skill necessary to complete acceptable groove welds in the 2, 5, and 6G positions with the GTAW process followed by the SMAW process on carbon steel. Students will also demonstrate the ability to make acceptable welding repairs on pipe.
