This program is intended for certified law enforcement officers. The curriculum includes course work and hands-on experiences to enhance the officers’ training. Inservice training is offered through the Public Safety Institute, Northern Michigan University.

Notes:

This advanced law enforcement certificate may be earned through the satisfactory completion of any 16 credit hours of unduplicated PSLE prefix courses. However, PSLE 010 - Legal Update Training may be counted for a maximum of two of the 16 required credit hours.
