By using geographical data and today’s leading computer technology, students will learn to assemble, manipulate, analyze, and visualize spatial data in order to solve problems and make decisions. Students gain familiarity with cartography, spatial and statistical analysis, computer science, remote sensing, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and visualization.
