A specific course of study is not required for this program. Students who participate in the Honors Program will declare a major in an academic department. Students may earn one of the following honors designations: Lower Division Honors, Lower Division Honors with World Language Studies, Upper Division Honors, Upper Division Honors with World Language Studies, Full Honors, and Full Honors with World Language Studies.

HON 101 - Origins of Western Values-Antiquity [PERS] [COMP] 4 Credits
HON 111 - Fine Art: Modern Sources [HUME] [COMP] 4 Credits
HON 201 - Origins of Western Values [PERS] 4 Credits
HON 211 - The Social Sciences [INTT] 4 Credits

Other Requirements 8 Credits

MA 115 - Precalculus [QUAR] [MATH] 4 Credits
World Language Course at 202 level or higher 4 Credits

Students who place out of the 202 level World Language Course are required to take at least 4 credits of coursework taught in another language at NMU to receive this designation.
