PSY 201 - Psychological Research I: Statistical Applications [QUAR] [MATH] Offered Fall: Yes Offered Winter: Yes Offered Summer: Yes Offered Other: No 4 Credits Hours (Lecture - Discussion - Lab): 3-0-2 General Education: Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis (QUAR) and Mathematics Competency University Requirement (MATH) Prerequisites: PSY 100 or PSY 101 .
The interpretation and application of basic descriptive statistics and an introduction to statistical inference, including correlations, chi square, and analysis of variance. Includes coverage of basic research designs. Statistical software used for computation work as a laboratory experience.
