This course will examine ways that cannabis, including specific cannabinoid compounds and synthetic analogs of these compounds, can affect (mental) wellbeing when applied or ingested. It will include introductory material on approaches to the study of cannabis’ actions in the body and review the connection of cannabinoid compounds application and ingestion with mental well-being. An emphasis will be placed on teaching students how to find and summarize published articles in this area of study.
